Jeff and Simon Ironworks in Burnaby says commercial and structural projects often run 10 to 16 weeks. Engineering review, permits and other trades change the timing.
For welded structures built to CSA S16, the fabricator must be CWB certified in Division 1 or 2, says CWB.
