About Metal Shop Guide

Why it exists

Finding a local metal shop online is harder than it should be. Searches turn up job ads, thin directories and other towns called Ottawa.

Good shops are out there. Few of their websites say what they run, what jobs they take or how to send a drawing.

So we put it in one place, with one form to reach them.

How we list shops

• Every fact comes from the shop's own website or a public record
• We keep a note of where each fact came from and when
• We never copy a shop's photos. A logo comes only from the shop's own website.
• Shops can claim their profile and correct it, free
• We don't inspect shops, so ask for proof of anything your job depends on

Who runs it

Metal Shop Guide is run by Figured Media, a web studio in Ottawa. We also build websites, including for shops in this guide. Listing and claiming stay free either way.
