Questions
One shop near Ottawa charges $150 an hour. An Ontario shop lists pistol slides from $80 and bolt action rifles from $200.
Cerakote is far thinner: about 0.5 to 1.0 mil, against 2 to 4 mils for powder. It also cures cooler, around 250°F versus 350 to 400°F.
Air-cured high-temp Cerakote reaches full cure after about 5 days, says one shop near Ottawa.
