Questions
Ask for both prices after inspection. Rebuilds usually make sense for large or custom cylinders. Small, mass made cylinders can cost more to fix than to replace.
Usually new seals, cleaning and a test. Worn rods may need chroming or replacing, and barrels may need honing. Ask what the quote covers.
Bore, rod diameter, stroke, retracted length and pin to pin length. Add the make, serial number and photos of the mounts.
Many can, if they stock the hose and fittings. Bring the old hose or both ends, and the length you need.
