Questions
Hard chrome is thick and resists wear, for rods and shafts. Decorative chrome is thin and bright, for parts people see.
Several shops. Dixon Hard Chrome in Sun Valley lists hard chrome. Multichrome/Microplate in Inglewood says hard chrome and thin dense chrome are its main process.
Some platers offer it. California Electroplating says its chrome plating comes in trivalent and hexavalent chrome.
