Give the alloy if you know it. Say whether the part is cast, sheet or plate, what it carries and where it failed.
CSA W47.2 is the CWB company standard for welding aluminum. Ask whether the company is certified for the work your project needs.
Send a close-up of the crack and a photo of the whole piece. Show anything that blocks access and say whether the part can be removed.
