Questions
On a London residential lot, fences may be at most 2.13 metres high. Within a corner or driveway visibility triangle, the limit is 0.9 metres. Barbed wire and electric fences are not allowed on residential lots.
A swimming pool fence permit is needed before a pool is built and before an existing pool fence is replaced.
At least 153 cm in height, with openings that cannot pass a ball over 3.8 cm. Every gate needs self-closing and self-latching devices. An outside latch that opens without a key must be at least 122 cm above ground.
St. Thomas, Stratford and the townships set their own rules. Check with your town or township before ordering a fence or gate.
